As Chairman and CEO Ben Bishop Jr. shared, transitioning to an ESOP recognizes the contributions of our employees in a meaningful way and positions the company for long-term stability and growth.
As part of this transition, Western’s leadership team has evolved to support the future of the company. Paul Gillstrom has stepped into the role of Chief ESOP & Strategy Officer to lead the strategic and financial governance of the ESOP, and Scott Fortkamp has joined Western as Chief Financial Officer to guide financial operations moving forward.
