Martha Parada Promoted to DC Assistant Branch Manager

Western Specialty Contractors proudly announces the promotion of Martha Parada to Assistant Branch Manager of its Washington, D.C. Branch.

Parada joined the branch in 2022 as a Sales/Project Manager, excelling through multiple branch transitions to earn her recent promotion. Founded in 1981, Western’s Washington, D.C. branch provides concrete and facade restoration, waterproofing and traffic coatings, caulking/sealant replacement, and parking lot restoration, among other services to customers in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Parada has over 15 years of concrete, waterproofing, roofing and fire protection experience, progressing through various roles, including project administrator, assistant project manager, project manager and senior sales project manager. Before Western, she was a Project Manager at Restoration East in Maryland and held positions at NCI Group and The CFP Group.

Her notable projects include Rayburn House Office Building Garage Rehabilitation and Plaza Waterproofing – a five-phase project that lasted five years; and the Target Rockville Waterproofing and Concrete Repairs project, which received Western’s Project of the Year in 2023.

Parada will assist Burnett in managing sales, daily operations and field personnel at the branch, plus developing new projects within her branch’s territory. She is certified through the Turner School of Construction Management Program at Howard University and in Planning for Plaza Repairs and Renovation through Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc.
