Western Specialty Contractors’ Peoria branch completed a roofing and exterior panel project at an educational facility in central Illinois.
Working as a subcontractor, Western replaced approximately 46 squares of roofing as part of a building addition and renovation project. The scope included complete tear-off and disposal of the existing roofing system, hoisting and installation of new roofing materials, and installation of a new roofing assembly designed to provide long-term weather protection.
In addition to the roofing work, Western installed new counterflashing, Carlisle SecurEdge fascia and clips, four new scuppers, and metal wall panels on both the building addition and portions of the existing structure. The improvements enhance the facility’s durability while providing a clean, modern appearance that complements the renovated campus.

The project began in April 2025 and was completed in August 2025. Western finished the work on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the project team.
