Western Specialty Contractors’ Kansas City Sheet Metal branch has completed an architectural sheet metal, roofing and waterproofing project at the AdHoc Center in Kansas City, MO.
Working as a subcontractor, Western manufactured and installed standing-seam metal roof and wall panels for the new facility. The scope also included a variety of custom architectural metal components and flashings designed to provide long-term weather protection and enhance the building’s finished exterior appearance.
Western’s work included the fabrication and installation of architectural metal flashings, scuppers, conductor heads, sill flashing, head flashing, gutters and downspouts. Together, these components help manage water throughout the building envelope and direct it away from the structure.
“Architectural sheet metal projects require precision throughout the fabrication and installation process to ensure all of the individual components work together as a complete system,” said Ryan Boyle, Project Manager at Western Specialty Contractors. “Our team took pride in delivering quality craftsmanship across the roof, wall panels, flashings and drainage components to help achieve the overall vision for the facility.”
The project began in December 2025 and was completed in May 2026. Western finished the work on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the project team.
