Western Specialty Contractors announces the opening of a new Austin, TX Branch and the promotion of Aaron Williams as Branch Manager.
In his new role as Branch Manager, Williams is responsible for overseeing sales, daily operations and field personnel at the new branch, plus developing new projects within the branch’s territory. The branch currently employs six office staff and a field crew of 20-25.
“Aaron’s knowledge of field operations and unmatched determination will help make Austin a successful branch for years to come. I am excited to work with Aaron and watch him grow the Austin market and branch team. We extend our congratulations to Aaron on his well-deserved new role,” said Western Region Manager Patrick Sheeran.
Williams started at Western’s Minnesota Branch in 2003. In 2020, Western transferred Williams to its San Antonio, TX, Branch remote office in Austin, where he worked as a Superintendent. In 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, then to Branch Manager of Western’s new Austin Branch at the start of 2024.
Construction is underway on a new office in Mustang Ridge, TX, for the Austin Branch, which operates out of a temporary space in Buda, TX. The new office is expected to be completed by the end of summer.
Services offered by the branch include building cleaning, concrete/masonry restoration, epoxy and chemical grout injection, expansion joint systems, exterior wall coatings, parking/plaza deck restoration and waterproofing. In addition to San Antonio, Western also has branches in Houston and Dallas, TX.
To date, the Austin Branch has completed several restoration projects at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium and student housing facilities at Texas State University.
